EDIT: I've gotten a few notes telling me that the below message may be old...
---

Want to feel good?

Then do a favor for this kid:

Today, I received a letter from one of our clients.
It read:

Dear John,

Your company is being asked to participate in an endeavor to make a sick child's wish come true.

Seven year old Craig Shelford has a brain tumor and has very little time left to live.
He has turned to Make-A-Wish Foundation and expressed a desire to have an entry in the Guinness Book Of World Records for the largest collection of business cards ever received by one individual.

Please take the time to type this letter on your letter head and send it to twenty businesses of your choice, helping Craig's wish come true.

Please don't hesitate in your response, as time is of the utmost importance.

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXXXX

Please send business cards directly to:

Craig Shelford
C/O Make-A-Wish Foundation
320 Perimeter Center, East Wing
Atlanta, GA 30346

Porchers,

As far as I can tell, this is legitimate.
So, if you could do me the favor, please help this kid.

If you know a few others who might be interested, please send them an e-mail or what ever.
If you don't have your own personal business card, maybe you could send one that you have laying around that you got in the mail or something...

Thanks for your help.

P.S. If you feel like it, post the boy's address and story elsewhere.
