Don, how does trading volume enter into your equation for strength of confirmations up or down? Today appears to have the strongest mid-day volume on the NASDAQ(1000M) we have seen in a very long time. It wasn't too long ago that 1000M was the total daily volume after the April correction.

Lets face it people, there is a lot of money out there in baby boomers' pockets from inheritance, max earning power in careers etc. that wants to get invested for retirement. The fuel is there to drive the market. It appears they are getting back in gradually and could jump in with both feet once the slowdown in earnings is accepted. Even with earnings slowing, where else are the boomers going to put their money and get the kind of returns even a slowed equities market can give them? GH
