David, I would guess the drop in price is a result of a combiniation of the Mongolian elections and the fiascos at Golden Rule and Delgratia Mining. Now that we have two other juniors doing their best imitation of Bre X people are probably jittery with all the junior mines. I think the political concerns are overblown. Check out the discussion of the political situation on the Mongolia Gold Resources thread. Dave Webb, the President of MGR, gave us his take on the situation. He doesn't seem too concerned and he knows the politics of that region better than any of us do. Of course, even if the new Presidential election is totally benign as far as its impact on the fundamentals of the stock, if the market sees it as a negative it will discount the stock's price, damn the fundamentals. Often times perception is more important than reality. Who knows how long the negative perception will last?
