Several major sellside firms in their published earnings estimates have switched to what they deem to be "cash eps". They have done this without telling clients that they have done so. First Call will be totally screwed up by this, since for a given stock, some sellside firms publish their version of cash earnings while others publish GAAP estimates. I believe that this move will get increasing scrutiny by the media in the coming months.
