<edited>Hi mtnlady - I am bullish on NT, but FWIW, if NT fell below 60, it also violated the 200 dma, it would not be pleasant. While large cap stocks are less likely to follow the 200 dma [or other moving averages] to the penny, b/c of their size, still, it gives another excuse.
Ultimately, it is a matter of faith and prudence. In the scheme of things, a dollar above 60 and a dollar below 60 are quite meaningless. IMHO.
Since the whole sector is going to the dogs, except for some FO specialty shops, my guess is that the window dressers want to present a more conservative portfolio to the mutual fund shareholders, just to show the latter how smart they are in avoiding the recent carnage
