"What is this market thinking? And how did the fools take charge so easily?"

BWAC- As you probably know, it's totally self-serving. The apparent Fools have been in charge for as long as I've been investing. It's sad they have so much power but it's something I've learned not to fight. For instance, Cramer of the Street.com makes no bones about it. He's in it to make short term profits. Anything his spin doctors can add to the dragging down of the entire sector, the more money he makes when he establishes positions at the bottom. His spin isn't even based on facts. And the media simply plays along because not only is it a good story, they don't have the intelligence to distinguish facts from spin.

The telecom sector is certainly not the only target. Every sector is targeted, for a short while, on a regular basis. It's about time the ENTIRE telecom sector got attacked on a large scale basis. Telecom has been immune for over a year, really two, from a BIG attack like we are seeing. In a convuluted way, it's a good sign because after the attack is done and positions established, then out marches the spin in the other direction.

Stats and trading help me to keep the faith. Of course the above is IMVHO only. -MikeM(From Florida)
