SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sep 27, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SDI is pleased to announce
that it has obtained the 100% exclusive global license for the FT Canada
Hydrogen Generator.
 
The Hydrogen Generator produces large quantities of hydrogen and oxygen from
water, using a patented process that requires low amounts of electricity in the
operation.
 
Sustainable Development International shall market the Hydrogen Generator
through a 100% owned SDI division, Watergas Incorporated.
 
Watergas Inc. will focus on the development and commercialization of onboard
hydrogen generators for vehicles in the trucking, passenger, and mass
transportation industries.
 
The onboard Watergas generators are capable of producing Watergas (a blended
hydrogen/oxygen gas) that is then mixed with the inlet air of the vehicle's
engine to enhance the existing vehicle's fuel source, primarily diesel or
gasoline products. The end result is a reduction in overall vehicle emissions
and improved fuel efficiency. These units are to be tested in October by a
recognized government research agency to confirm the fuel savings and emission
reductions prior to mass manufacturing.
