Bottoms are marked by extreme pain. Volume is normally heavier than usual. The SI bears are out in force. Doom and gloom postings. More importantly, the "babies get thrown out with the bath water." Seems that's what may ('may' being the operative word) be happening here. Personally, I typically want to sell everything and go all cash. That's when I know its time to buy. Did a bit of that today. Will do the same tomorrow on any heavy dip...as I'd bet we are closer to the near-term bottom than the top. FWIW, I got lucky this time around and was able to sell lots at much higher prices. But this still hurts. A lot. Trading for a living is not for those with weak stomachs -- that's for sure.
