It's sad when so many people feel, that the only way to remain safe, in the good old U.S., is to own an assault weapon.
So, what does the majority ruled Republican congress do? Well..... instead of coming up with good gun control legislation, if anything else, to make a statement against gun violence; they use their majority power to destroy any kind of gun reform.
The Republican ruled congress cries, "Well, if only the current rules would be followed". Then, they stuff their pockets with money from the gun industry.
Well...... if the Republican Congress, which controls the rules of this country, would pass meaningful and enforceable rules, they would be followed!
The majority Republican Congress passes the buck again, and, instead, spends all their time going after one of the most successful American Presidents in the modern history of this country, Bill Clinton.
Oh well, go ahead and sleep with your gun, if that will make you feel good. |
