I own a little, and saw the stock dive today, and was prepared to buy more. But in the ten minutes it took me to log onto Waterhouse and sell something the stock had already climbed back into the 13's, and the market was closing. Waterhouse is pretty good overall, but their site is slow, slow, slow.

The reason I was preparing to buy AMK was that today's volume did not seem that high. I would guess there was someone who wanted to sell at any price. But you never know. Maybe they had a fire at their plant, or have crunched some bad preliminary numbers.

I think AMK is exposed. We may find a lot of ordering and buying recently was defensive, and once the perceived shortage was gone, and normal orders come in, that sales may be off. Also, MOT and others are indicating that handset sales may be off. I'm not sure I buy that; the projections are still for good growth this year in handset sales, but we'll have to wait and see. Another potential problem with AMK is that they just added new capacity. Not a time for a slowdown in sales.

I'll be watching this tomorrow morning.
