Calendar day 58 of the Great Conseco Short Squeeze of 2000 (it appears I was undercounting the number of days since the Squeeze began):

CNC closes at 8 1/8. Given that it opened at 9 5/16 on the day the first of the ads ran, it is down over 1 1/8 as a result of The Squeeze.

This proves that Mr. Jacobs was wise to initiate The Squeeze, and that The Squeeze has been a great success, because by all rights CNC should be selling for about two and a half bucks.
