Hi-Tech Pharmacal and Chris Dudley Join Forces to Create Awareness in Products for People With Diabetes
AMITYVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2000--Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co., Inc. (NASDAQ: HITK - news) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Chris Dudley, a professional basketball player. According to the agreement, Chris Dudley will be a spokesperson for the line of products designed to enhance the quality of life of people with diabetes that are manufactured and marketed by the Health Care Products Division of Hi-Tech Pharmacal. Chris Dudley, who was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 16, is widely known for his educational and charitable efforts in the area of diabetes. His special focus is on younger people suffering from the disease and with the goal of helping children with diabetes he founded The Dudley Foundation.
