Many on this board would have us believe that NOTHING is being done for the poor of this country. HOGWASH. Trillions of dollars have been spent in a frenzy of government programs to help people like this and have accomplished NOTHING. It's time to admit that liberal/socialist policies have failed utterly and that it's time to scrap the whole rotten mess and try a different approach.
