well jerry there are times in the market when the predominance of bearish sentiment is correct, like it was off the 1998 top, so is this another one of those, it might be. stockcharts.com[L,A]DBCLYIMY[DC][PB50!B200][VC60][IUB14!LA12,26,9] the yahoo chart speaks volumes in addition to wintel, a big volume candle break of support after a 6 month consolidation pattern, what adds more bearishness to the pattern is the negation of that island reversal from the july low. i think the tech bear market that started in march is now making the next thrust down off the sept top. eventually we should have a boffo countertrend rally somewhere but i donnow wen it'll happen in this year with all the tax loss selling goin down. b
