One does not sweep away the vast stores of history.... after the great "non-event." Pursuing the conversion The sacrifice of so many countless millions upon millions of lives for domination of so many thru the centuries... in the name of some ancient tribal God of Wrath and pretending it was "we"that held the keys....is what we are left to see. Because of some "Lord of Lord"s? "King of Kings?" Reality check you want? Try grasping the truth and terrible gravity of the aftermath....then if you are christian, you may finally see. It was never about the "King of Kings" and "promised lands...but a simple Rabbi who taught that the vast Kingdom was about us and within us if we dared to to be brave enough to notice. He came to teach not to master...in perfect simplicity. You wish to know God , or be in heaven? Know thyself. He that Christians adore said nothing more.
