SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- frontpath, inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of S3, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIII - news), today announced its strategic partnership with cyberPIXIE(TM). The companies have a joint development and marketing agreement that enables them to work together to support broadband, personalized content, server and networking architecture for vertical market segments.

In connection with this agreement, S3 has taken a significant equity position in cyberPIXIE to help fuel its already aggressive growth and business model. The company did not disclose terms of the agreement.
