This guy had a market outperform rating on NT before downgrading. I guess he missed the run up in NT stock while he kept his positive outlook on his favorite, Lucent.

I still find it odd how so much importance was given to this guy.

SSB report probably takes into account the need to build out optical networks as the reason why these stocks should do well---sort of a transition from traditional telco equipment to broadband.
