I known I have watch it happen to many of the greats. The sad thing about when Stevie Ray died is that he realized he was screwing up, and was cleaning up at the time. I thank god clapton got it together. All the rockers and blues players have to do is look at what happen to all the Jazz greats, they all died way too young. That's sad too since Jazz has been killed by the likes of Kenny G of the world. Some made into their sixties, like Miles, but he couldn't even do his solos anymore because he abused hiself some many times. They should be sitting on their porch making great music still, like Muddy is and BB. G
