Sagawa is going to look bad on this call. I wonder if he bothered to call IR at NT or CSCO. I hope he's got his resume filled out.... He clearly didn't do his homework on this one. I'm guessing he called a couple of carrier customers and asked about spending and then based his position on that. Of course NT is a multinational company with bleeding edge optical technology and CSCO sell to balanced set of customers - predominantly enterprise. Not sure how Sagawa could make such a generalization about the overall prospects for the market and NT and CSCO. Of course FON, WCOM, and T are all up... so well.... now it makes even more sense... NOT!
