Bridges.com - One of Canada's 10 Fastest-Growing Tech Firms


KELOWNA, BC, Sept. 28 /CNW/ - Bridges.com Inc. (TSE:BIT) has experienced
revenue growth of more than 3,250 per cent over the past five years, earning a
place among the 10 fastest-growing technology companies in Canada.

Bridges.com's ninth-place ranking on the Canadian Technology Fast 50 list
was announced today by Deloitte & Touche.

The Fast 50 list ranks Canada's fastest-growing software, Internet,
semiconductor, biotechnology and communications companies according to their
annual revenue growth during the past five years. Bridges.com Inc.'s annual
revenues grew from $141,699 in fiscal year 1995 to $4.616 million in FY1999.
The company's strong growth continues, with $8.456 million in revenues
declared from the first nine months of operation in 2000.

Bridges.com was incorporated in 1994 and has become the dominant provider
of career information in North America. The company's resources are used in
more than 9,500 schools -- representing more than 27 per cent of all middle
and secondary schools in the U.S. and Canada. An additional 2,500 adult career
centres and other non-school sites also subscribe to Bridges.com resources.

"Our clear corporate purpose and our ability to employ high-quality team
members have been the primary contributors to our rapid rate of growth," said
Doug Manning, CEO and President of Bridges.com. "The company's expanded
vision, defined in our new three-year plan, positions us to continue our
