Alex, the point is that anecdotes are hearsay. If statistics can be subject to interpretation, so can "experience". There is nothing privileged about it. If I meet three people who are non- representative of their population group and make generalizations based upon them, I have made an obvious mistake. Experience is not worthless, but its limitations have to be recognized, especially when assessing the scope and nature of an ostensible national problem.......
