I think an area that is overlooked when it comes to Fiber Optic sales are the utility companies. Enron, CP&L and Montana Power are just a few companies (among a growing number of utility companies) that have become large buyers of telecom equipment because they were smart enough to drop fiber along the gas and electrical lines they were laying. I wonder if the ANALysts are considering the spending by these companies when coming up with there guesstimates.
