I can never really say something is absolutely TRUE because all truths are relative

So this statement is not absolutely true, but may be relatively so? But how can an assertion of absolutism admit of a degree? It can't. Something can not be partially absolute. It must be either true or false. Relative statements can admit of degrees. Absolutes can not. The assertion that I have a heart is either true or false. I cannot have a heart in some relative sense. I am speaking of a physical heart and not a metaphor. So your above quote is either absolutely true or absolutely false. If, however, it is true, then it is not true, as being a contradiction if absolutely true. But to say it is false would not necessitate a contradiction. The nature of your assertion entails that your statement is relatively true. But it does not claim to be relatively true; It claims to be True. If it is only relatively true, then it does not entail anything. And if it is TRUE, then it is FALSE!

I say these things, because I know I can expect an entertaining and thoughtful response, not because I hope for even a minute that I might corner you! :):)
