My wife's grandfather and great- aunt both had good experiences in nursing homes, to the extent that is possible. Of course, this was in Missouri. Maybe the problem is Florida.

In my area, there are increasing numbers of assisted living facilities. I do not know the financial terms, but the accommodations seem very nice......
