Strong Buy
Dane Lewis, Network Storage Systems and Software
“CacheFlow will be holding product demos for its Web Server Acceleration product at
Networld+Interop, which begins today,” said Lewis. “Web content acceleration is a market that CFLO
pioneered, landing key customers such as Exodus and Lycos. We expect more enterprise, Web
hosting and ISP customer wins to follow. The company will also give a presentation on Content
Delivery Networks today at Networld+Interop, which we believe will allow them to continue to gain
visibility as a leading content delivery infrastructure provider. We continue to have confidence in
CacheFlow’s story, given the strong growth of the caching market. We expect the caching market to
reach $6-8 billion by 2004. CacheFlow appears well positioned to gain leadership in this market by
offering a low-cost, efficient caching appliance solution that is more scalable than a software solution.
We reiterate our Strong Buy rating. We believe CacheFlow’s impressive performance squares with
the themes we highlighted in our CFLO upgrade to Strong Buy report released on September 11,
2000.”
