I think it was Peter Lynch that first introduced the nomenclature of "x-bagger". I believe he meant it to mean that a stock bought at $x is now worth $(10*x). This, as you pointed out, is somewhat confusing because it isn't the same as percentage gain. In my case, I think I'll break out the scotch when NTAP hits $190; rather than waiting until $191.90. :-)
