The question is whether the leak was intentional, or the result of someone trying to insure profitability for a client...

The way I look at it, if the CB's want to meddle in currency trading, it is THEIR responsibility to insure that the information remains top secret.

How can you blame market participants for unethical behavior, wanting to profit, or limit their losses, when the very cause of their profit/loss is arguably unethical in itself?

But I think many FOREX traders saw it coming... But most doubted the Federal Reserve would be participating, since they hardly ever do...

I guess if I were a hedge fund, or Citibank, my take would be "prove it" and then try to prosecute me for wanting prevent losing my butt as a result of the government deliberately trying to make me lose money"...

It would prove an interesting case...

Regards,

Ron
