The Apple news leaked out, but only to some very important people. Many former Apple employees work at Microsoft.

Look at the recent price action on Microsoft and Dell, despite good news and reassurances.

Note the unexplained lack of sales to the educational sector--I believe strongly that Apple educational PC sales are now going to Wintel. Indeed, all of the Microsoft-related PC companies say they have good sales...Compaq, Dell, HP.

It is funny to see Microsoft et. al dropping on Apple news. Anyone who has followed the tech market for more than a few months knows that Apple has risen and fallen several times without impact on Microsoft--in fact in the past when Apple was doing poorly, Microsoft has being doing great.

All told, perhaps some fools will sell Microsoft at a two-year low, despite evidence that they are doing well, and despite the spate of new product introductions.
