What makes them economically feasible is the Arizona State Tax Credit, so they're probably either not widely available or widely advertised outside of Arizona. You have to order them. They're still not mainstream, but the point is that they will be someday and probably sooner than later if oil prices stay high like they are now. The Saudis aren't stupid and they know this. And with the largest reserves they're the ones who lose the most if the world moves to another fuel sooner than later.

Last I saw oil was down a buck or so on the Saudi comments.

BTW, AZ is changing the alternative fuel program to pay the credit out over five years instead of in one year because of the amount of money it's costing (more people applying than they expected).
