I agree. Who cares about Apple? What's the connection to JDSU? Does Apple's warning have anything to do with the buildout of fiber networks? Consumer-related businesses like Apple are toast -- for the most part. Thanks to the slowing economy. We all agree on that. Right? All I can say is -- better Apple than Corning or Nortel. Now THAT would scare the begezus out of me. ;) I wouldn't expect this Apple news to move JDSU one way or the other. That said, JDSU was weaker than most today as the Street still seems to debate that Bernstein nonsense about slowing growth -- that nonsense that has already taken a good chunk of decent market cap with it. Fortunately, JDSU can't make product fast enough for their customers. That's the real problem as I see it. Maybe this supposed "slowdown" will allow JDSU to better deal with its capacity limitations.
