Sylvester, Re: Is there even a remote chance in hell that AMD either can #1 warn or #2 miss? There's always a remote chance but it isn't very probable. AMD could miss the Athlon/Duron shipment numbers (3.6 million) due to infrastructure problems but since they reiterated it at least three times they would have issued a warning by now. The most important thing in the earnings CC will be the Q4 and 2001 forecast. If AMD sticks to their 7.2 million K7 goal (what would basically imply revenue of about 1.5 billion), gives some good '01 guidance and states that demand is still strong the stock price will recover soon IMO, even if the market environment stays bearish.
