OTOT: Clinton is a disgrace as a leader. Gore has a problem with the "big" lie, (inventing the internet, starting the strategic oil reserve), but the guy is smart and did time in Viet-Nam (even as a reporter) which I respect. His politics are not entirely mine, but I do have respect for the guy's brains and the fact that in his life he rarely took the totally easy road...which was available to him.

W. is a problem for me. I just can't get over the fact that the guy seems so "lite". It is more than mixing up numbers and a phrase or two...it is just a sense that he is not his own guy...cannot truly take a stand for what HE believes in. All the admissions about "youthful" indiscretions fails to note that he was still claiming youth in his early forties.

I would really like to vote for a leader. I was intrigued by McCain as many were not because I agreed with all his positions, but I felt he had positions and they were his, not his advisors.
