well, i'm sure you have noticed that the put/call ratio is begging to have the word 'put' removed from its name too...

OEX came in at 0,47 today...a flurry of call buying shortly before the close dumped it down from 0,54....amazing.

AND add to that the 'fearless forecasters' with their 90% bulls and 5% bears...fearless indeed. this market simply knows no caution anymore...down 10% in three weeks elicits non-committal shrugs and ho-hums...the battle tested bullish column knows worse dumps and has survived them after all.

if you look at the 'widely held' stocks, most have been decimated...obviously then a wide swathe of 'investors' should feel pain...and instead of avoiding feeling even more pain, all they can think about is the next rally that will deliver us from evil fer sure...

we can thank Magoo Al for that....
