Clinton didn't believe in the Vietnam War and he stood up against it. Frankly, history now proves him correct. At least he "stuck to his guns" which shows more character than having your Daddy use his influence to get you out of harms way. Especially when your Daddy is sending other people's children to their death!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheney used a student deferment to avoid going to Vietnam and never did serve in the military. Bush signed up but never showed up and wasn't punished for being AWOL. Not exactly a great example for a political party that constantly preaches taking responsibility for oneself.
