OH,~K.....that sounds sooooo wonderful!!! Reminds me of my first trip to the top of Blood Mountain...the highest point on the AT (Appalachian Trail) in Georgia. It is a 4,485 ft. climb and it is a very winding, sometimes rocky, climb. Once you get to the top...you realize it was well worth the struggle.....absolutely beautiful scenery. There is a rocky ledge that I like to sit on off the path that is very quiet. After hearing you and Rudi talk, I have got to see the glaciers in Alaska!!!
