Look under the G, for growth
Excuse me, but what do you mean by that? That there is no growth for Apple? If so, I disagree. Frankly, the analyst expectations never reflect reality when reality changes like higher interest rates, foreign currency issues, etc.. Anyone that doesn't believe Apple is a viable and growth company should definitely sell their shares tomorrow. Today's pre-announcement was definitely not expected, yet, Apple is still making a very good profit. The stock got pummeled in after hours like as if it had announced a loss for the qtr. After all the great qtrs, the market or analysts just don't seem to give a damn if and when there is a weak qtr. If Apple had been priced to perfection at $200, then a 45% haircut may have some logic behind it, but it's just crazy when the stock was only $54 to be cut down to $30! |
