OT: On the plus side I was hearing yesterday that this summer was very good for the trees, making for a spectacular color display this fall in the Northeast.

When I think about all the factors affecting both supply and demand it seems to me that the swings between demand season and restocking season will be much larger once everything settles out. There will be more supply year round to handle the increased seasonal demand, but during shoulder season the only new factor I see coming into play is Internet demands for electricity (no A/C or electric heat). Result: Much larger builds will occur. Anyone care to comment on this?

Just for grins I didn't turn on the heat last night. Have 18 inches of insulation in the attic and wanted to see what would happen. BIG mistake. Inside temps dropped 5 degrees overnight. Guarantee you folks had their heaters on last night or this morning. Have my heater blasting out warm air right now. We americans sure take it for granted that heat will always be there when we want it.
