The $365 is for the cappuccino maker. I think the grinder is like $150 or so. You can get grinders for around $20, consisting of a rotating blade. The expensive grinder uses burrs, which I think are interlocking gear-like things that do a better job of mashing up the beanies (and don't rechop them like a whirling cheapie--don't ask me why this is important!). Just don't catch your fingers!
I didn't think $365 was expensive for a good capp maker, but I was amazed when a friend recently paid $375 for a vegetable juicer. I guess it all depends on what you value :)
