London, Sept 29 (Reuters)

Subscriber figures out next week from Britains four mobile phone companies are
likely to show the market remains red hot even as the industry prepares to boost sales further with new wireless internet services.

Deutsche bank forecasts the industry added a net 3.6 million UK customers in the last three months, beating the 3.4 million added in the strong second quarter.

Vodafone Group PLC, the market leader, has already indicated it had an excellent third quarter after a dissapointing previous three months.

Deutsche Bank estimates Vodafone added
820,000 users, compared with 572,000 in the second quarter and 701,000 in the third quarter of 1999.

The world's largest mobile phone company
is also expected to highlight strong growth in Italy and Germany.
