It's even worse…

The Cube had availability problems, but what Fred and SJ are saying is that the Cube was off to a bad start on the demand. In a slowing economy, it may seem, there is little interest in a luxury item.

The $799 iMac is now shipping in volume.

The problem is NOT specific of Euro, if fact the warning talks about "ALL GEOGRAPHIES".

It may seem that the consumer market has dried out. There is no compelling reason for people buy more computers.

Lets face it, the news are no good. All we can hope for is that the MacOS X re-spark the interest in Apple products. But the real problem is Greenspan and company, IMHO.
