CLOVIS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2000--Pacific Sands, Inc. (OTCBB:PFSD - news), the Clovis based Corporation specializing in waste water purification and aqua-environmental products and services, announced today that it has finished its stage one testing of the company's first installed industrial waste water cleaning system.
Before passing through stage one, common waste water contains heavy materials such as mud, branches and fruit skin along with the chemicals used during the washing stage of the product. To date the cleaning system has successfully shown the ability to remove solid waste down to 20 microns (20 microns is so small, it is undetectable by the naked eye and one needs a microscope to find the remaining biological particles).
Culminating two years of research in industrial waste water treatment, stage one (removing solid contaminants within the waste water), is a success. Stage two, three and four testing are currently underway. Stage two involves adjusting water pH in preparation for stage three, the introduction of proprietary products which digest organic materials, followed by the final stage four which is the introduction of other proprietary products to digest what remains in the water, leaving the water clean.
Stage two test results will be announced by mid-October, followed shortly by the results of stages three and four. The company currently has three other Industrial processing plants who want a system following successful test results.
