niceguy, I think we are in a bear market for tech that will last at least another six months. The last bear market I know of is 1981 until August of 82. In that case AMD bottomed 8 months before the rest of the market, but its gains were rather limited (50% max) and the action was choppy.

Other parallels are that oil stocks were strong. Its when oil stocks started to weaken that the market took off in August of 82. First 100 million share day.

Yea, I know, I'm old, but I made a bundle on AMD with that liftoff in 82.

What I'm telling you is, avoid buying any more options unless they are at least 8 months out, or until the liftoff occurs.
