Dave, It seems no one was interested in having the graphics engine on the processor. Isn't this at least partly why Cyrix died? The failure of MXi was due to CPU core problems rather than graphics problems. It may be true that onboard graphics are not a great idea, due to the rapid obsolesence of graphics products. And Via is planning on introducing new versions of their MediaGX processor, from what I understand -- it'll be interesting to see how successful they are. Actually VIA does not own rights to MediaGX. National kept that part of the business, and I have heard rumors that they do have a new product coming out shortly. Scumbria
