He didn't share His vision...He told of the Kingdom of God. He warned against worshipping other gods.
He informed as to the only way to heaven was through Him.
He was not a man as you say "on the path"....
He, the LORD Jesus Christ, God in the Flesh... was that path! And, He the LORD Jesus Christ God in the flesh..,still is that path.! †
The crux of reality is not as you have said, But the crux of reality is the Cross of Jesus the Christ, LORD and Saviour of the world...God in the flesh!!!†

The word of God does not speak of monks and rebels walking with The LORD Jesus Christ. He walked with His disciples, and crowds followed Him just to hear Him and worship Him.
And as for any comparison to Mohammed....There is none!
The LORD Jesus Christ is Saviour of the world... sent by God to a wretched world full of sin and destruction. And any one who believes in Him...The LORD Jesus Christ, God in the flesh... will be saved!!

The LORD Jesus Christ as God Himself in the flesh, did in fact know, that the only way to save this dying wretched world from going straight to hell, was to offer Himself as a perfect sacrifice....for you.... and for me... and for all.. who would accept Him and His most perfect sacrifice.! Only He was worthy to make that offer.!!

The LORD Jesus Christ was sacrificed and known by all as KING of the Jews!! This inscription was ordered by Pilate himself. But Pilate himself did not realize the entire KINGDOM Jesus the LORD reigned over.!!
