NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks scraped out fresh session lows in midday trading, pressured as Apple Computer Inc.'s (NasdaqNM:AAPL - news) warning late Thursday of weaker sales and earnings spurred skittish investors to dump technology shares.

The tech-laden Nasdaq composite index and high-tech blue chip shares both slid on the news from Apple, the latest in a slew of companies to lower earnings expectations.>>
