it is refreshing to hear someone say that CNBC is passing along news 'at face value', as that is their job. all too often, I hear ppl complain that CNBC 'spins' the news more often than not. unfortunately, as with most things, buying and selling stocks is one big game, and to participate, one must understand how to play the game. analysts (and their recomendations) are but one part of this game. anyone that blindly listens to analysts (or anyone else for that matter) gets what they deserve IMO.
