DNA: Here's a good one. I just pick up my afternoon paper and I read the lead story: An Ohio business group has booked $3 million in TV commercials to persuade voters to oust Ohio Supreme Court Justice Alice Robie Resnick in the Nov. 7 election. Why? Because "big business and insurers say Justice Resnick has shown an anti-business bias in her rulings." The fat-cat biz group calls itself "Citizens for a Strong Ohio." It was created by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to solicit so-called soft money from fat cats in big business to buy advertiesments denouncing Justice Resnick's record. That's what I love about the Repubs. This is perfectly legit but, by God, we need to clamp down on unions in this country. Nothing would please me more than to see Gore beat Bush because of the union vote on Nov. 7. If Gore says he's going to help middle-class families pay for college, I believe him.
