Cos is a vegetarian. So he doesn't like killing cows either.

Interesting how you manage to work around to abortion- is this a hot button for you?

Hunting is killing and so is abortion. But sometimes it's alright to kill. But the real question is when is it alright? Is it alright to kill to eat? Is it alright to kill something (someone- if you prefer) you don't want to host in your body? Probably yes and yes if done it humanely, but that's just my opinion. Everyone has an opinion on this, no two people seem to agree exactly- much less any two societies. So thank goodness we live in a country where people can make up their own minds. I certainly don't want to be making another person's moral choice for them- do YOU Greg? Do you long to make moral choices for people and impose them by the mechanism of the state? I grant you it's a nice thought. I long to force people to give away all they have, and become missionaries for reason, and love. I long to be able to force people to treat their already born children with love and kindness, and without violence. I yearn to be able to force people who do not wish to work, but who do not wish to starve, to do useful things, and attend classes like "How to be a responsible person".

But Greg, I don't believe in forcing people to do things against their own will and conscience. Of course I believe that relatively.

I don't like the idea of killing animals. It's easier for me to kill plants. Just an irony of life that we have to kill something in order to live- since we can't eat sunlight like the plants.

Nature, red in tooth and claw.
