VINTHO says "neither one of us have the foggiest notion who is ahead or who is behind in this Vcd market untilsome time in July!"

Speak for yourself VINTHO. My notion, while not 100% certain, is far less foggy than your notions ... particularly since I don't fall in love with any stock. You better hope there is indeed some incompatibiliy problem with older ESST VCD chips, because if there isn't, ESST will simply eat the VCD market.

15 cents a share drop in earnings = how many VCD chips? I'll agree with you that nobody can say with complete certainty, but how many times are you 100% certain in the real world? The fact that you actually believe CUBE could be the market leader should compel you to short ESST now. Because if CUBE, the market leader, has a 15 cents/share loss, ESST will be decimated. You can play it that way, but there is an excellent chance you'll lose a lot of money. If you aren't willing to short ESST, than in the next few months, holding on to CUBE is shear madness.
