>>>Also, he has been investigated by the Republicans for eight years and we know all his negatives. We are just beginning to know Bush. There are many unanswered questions about many of Bush's dealings over the years including SEC violations , property rights infringements, etc. The SEC violations are felonious ( insider dumping of stock and reporting the sale 6 months later). The cocaine allegations are serious also as he would have committed a felony.<<<

Good points, Patricia. It's true, Gore, since the first time he announced for president and campaigned against President Clinton, has been thoroughly investigated by the Republican bulldogs.

So, after all this time, whatta these GOPheads got for their scandal page: a) a pretention that Gore is Clinton; b) a complicated Buddhist temple thing fundraising thing (and what campaigns don't have fundraising controversies?); c) some distortions about the Internet or a union song thing; d) an open to interpretation story about the price of prescription drugs and e) a bunch of name calling and varying other distortions like Bush's frivilous position on the debates or the counter-mole story.

Nothing from the above is very strong and seems deeply rooted to whining. It seems to me that the Republican argument against Gore is extremely weak. All of the above exists because when it comes down to actual issues, the Democrats are more in touch with the needs and concerns of America's average citizenry than are the Republicans.
